Our mentors
Every person on the Mollie & Co. network is personally known to us, university-educated and DBS checked. All hold or will complete a paediatric first aid certificate upon placement. They are mentors and role models of the kind every family hopes to find.
Mollie J. Founder
University of Edinburgh
Mollie has over 6 years of direct nannying experience, including long-term placements of up to 4 months and 2 months mentoring a teenager, alongside holiday nannying for many families. She also helps care for her 3-year-old niece, currently teaching her to swim. A strong swimmer, ski racer and polo player, Mollie holds paediatric first aid training, a full driving licence and a boat licence, and is happy to tutor younger children or mentor across all ages.

Lucia has extensive nannying and babysitting experience across ages 3-13. Having grown up with both parents as teachers, she is very comfortable in a school environment. Also a qualified lifeguard, swimming coach and hockey coach, Lucia has experience supporting teenagers with GCSE courses.

Evie loves working with children and helping them build confidence and learn new skills. She has worked at her old ballet school for three years caring for and supporting young children, and spent a year volunteering at a local primary school helping children develop reading and public speaking skills.

Kiera is organised, easy-going, reliable and fun. Alongside her studies and part-time work, she spends her time playing sport, travelling and spending time with family and friends. Kiera holds a National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification including First Aid, and a Level 1 Qualification in Sports Leadership.
Toby D.

Toby has experience with children aged 6 and above as a qualified windsurfing instructor, keeping groups safe, engaged and genuinely enjoying themselves on the water. He also works with children as a STEM tutor, and as a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at Edinburgh he is a strong support across maths and science. A keen all-round sportsman, Toby has represented GB in cross-country skiing and captains his university hockey team. Reliable, energetic and happy to help with anything from homework and school runs to active days outdoors.

Sophie has several years of babysitting experience across a range of ages, plus three months as a camp counsellor in America teaching dance and drama. She has taught dance to children aged 13-17 for three years, and brings a strong musical and theatre background to everything she does. Friendly and reliable, Sophie is happy to help with games, crafts, meal times and bedtime routines.

Tally is passionate about poetry, music and sport. She has extensive volunteering experience with food banks and study groups, and has worked as both a tutor and mentor with children at her local library, also helping parents with exam advice. Tally speaks excellent Spanish (A grade at A Level).
Annabel T.

Annabel has over three years of experience working with children aged 3-14 at a summer camp, helping to create a fun, safe and engaging environment. Highly active and enthusiastic, with a passion for sport, she will be captaining an Edinburgh hockey team next year alongside holding a sports coaching qualification. Reliable, energetic and confident with children of all ages, Annabel is happy to help with daily routines, homework, outdoor activities or positive mentorship, and is happy to travel with families and adapt to different schedules.

Archie brings a natural big brother energy that children respond to immediately. He has extensive babysitting experience, as well as providing regular care for children with SEND, with a particular focus on Down syndrome, bringing patience, warmth and genuine consistency to every placement. An avid musician and former piano tutor, Archie loves bringing creative activities into the day, keeping things fun and energetic. Patient and reliable, he is happy to cook, clean and help with homework, and rarely beaten at bedtime negotiations.

Honor has extensive experience working with children from 18 months to 15 years old, through babysitting, tutoring and work experience helping out in a primary school. She genuinely enjoys creating a fun, supportive and engaging environment where children can learn, grow and thrive. Honor plays hockey, leads an active lifestyle, and holds a Sports Leadership qualification, having captained the girls' 1st XI hockey team at school. Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic, she has a full driving licence and her own car, and is happy to help with school runs and flex around changing family schedules.

Connie has extensive babysitting experience spanning newborns through to age 12, with strong cooking skills and confidence looking after both younger and older children. She loves bringing art into activities with children, and has worked both as a longer-term everyday nanny and a casual babysitter.

Emily has loved working with children since she was 16, and brings a natural warmth and creativity to everything she does. Arts and crafts, baking and active outdoor games are her specialities, the kind of day that leaves children genuinely worn out and happy. Having spent a year travelling through South America and New Zealand, working with horses for much of that time, Emily is adaptable, calm and confident in all sorts of environments. Now studying Social Anthropology at Edinburgh, she is also a polo player, sporty, fun and endlessly engaging with children of all ages.
Philippine M.
University of Manchester
Philippine comes from a large, lively family and has always been surrounded by children, cousins, siblings, and now nieces and nephews. She has babysat regularly across a wide range of ages and volunteered with children in both Calais and Hong Kong. Passionate about painting, running and the outdoors, Philippine is happiest on an active day, cycling or walking whenever possible. She speaks fluent French, making her a wonderful choice for families travelling to France or Switzerland.
